BELLEVUE, WA – Domain name registrar and registry services provider Identity Digital has announced they will be releasing – for first-time availability – over 20,000 short premium domains at NamesCon Global 2024, including hundreds of .vote domains just in time for election season, as well as more than 1,000 one and two-character .info domains.

Identity Digital noted that the launch of the Early Access Phase (EAP) for these premium domains is slated to take place on June 12, 2024 – which allows interested parties to snap them up sooner, albeit at an elevated pricing structure that gradually decreases over the course of a set number of days – followed by their General Availability (GA) phase, which will take place on June 19, 2024.

There is a proven market for premium domains with both businesses and consumers, allowing them to boost brand visibility and immediately convey specific expertise, especially relating to any products or services,” said Identity Digital in a statement regarding the release of the domains. “Businesses and individuals are always searching for ways to stand out in a crowded digital marketplace, and premium domains are an effective and powerful tool for establishing an online presence. Short character premiums can also be extremely lucrative.”

As an example of how short premium domains can be exceptional money-makers for their owners, Identity Digital noted that they had sold bet.bet to Top.domains for five figures in April 2023, which then turned around and resold it just nine months later for a record-breaking $600,000.

The company stated that numerous high-profile domains will be on offer that have never been made available to the general public before. Examples provided include ai.info, 8.info, us.info, chat.info, com.info, a.info, ok.info, i.ski, e.vote, hi.bio, we.lgbt, and countless more that – according to Identity Digital Chief Revenue Officer, Matt Overman – can be used to help business or private entities promote their identity on the internet.

With thousands of premiums becoming available for the first time ever, this event presents a chance to assert ownership around highly desirable online territory,” he said. “Two-character domains are extremely sought after, and we recognize that releases like these offer unique opportunities for investment. We are eager to share this release with our partners – and their customers – helping them build a competitive edge in the online marketplace.”
