Top 15 National Yellow Pages Websites Worth Your Business; Listed by Traffic

*** Here Is A List Of Some Of The Best Domain Name Resources Available ***

The “Yellow Pages” are still very much alive and well, they’re just not big, heavy tree-killing, paper-wasting books anymore. In 1886 when the very first official Yellow Pages Directory was created, the name “Yellow Pages” was actually unintentional; it came into use when a printer ran-out of white paper and yellow paper was used instead. Fast forward 130 years later, the term Yellow Pages was and is still so successful, there seems to be a thousand different “Yellow Pages”. Many sport the “Yellow Pages” name and/or the “Walking Fingers” logo, though in the United States, neither the name nor the logo are registered trademarks because its original creator failed to trademark them, and even worse, allowed others to use it. Because of this, trademark registrations have been denied on the grounds that it “had become a generic indicator of the yellow pages without regard to any particular source”.

So, with all of these Yellow Pages, how does the general public know which Yellow Pages are “real”, (they’re actually all real) or at least, which Yellow Pages are worth using? The answer is traffic. Below are the most popular Yellow Pages websites in the United States, sorted by traffic, the lower the number, the better. (A low number represents a better rank from first to last place). Traffic and snapshot images are from Alexa (a web traffic data and analytics company) and were recorded on August 28, 2016. [Note: This list focuses mostly on sites which concentrate on the Yellow Pages, Walking Fingers, or Phone Book theme, with some notable competitors.]
