WEST PALM BEACH, FL – For over two decades, I’ve been deeply entrenched in the domain name industry—an ecosystem where names aren’t just words, but digital real estate with the power to shape ideas, brands, and sometimes, even entire industries. That’s why I’m excited to announce the release of my latest book: Murder.net, a cyber thriller that blends the dark web, the psychology of digital obsession, and the hidden underworld behind domain names.
The story behind Murder.net is a bit unconventional. I’ve always been fascinated by crime stories and investigative journalism—shows like ‘Web of Lies’ used to capture my attention (even though, let’s be honest, in comparison, that’s a terrible name for a web crime show). I also happened to own the domain name Murder.net—a powerful, chilling name that, on its own, had very little commercial value. The question kept nagging at me: What am I going to do with this domain? The idea hit me—what if I wrote a book, a story that could maybe even become a film one day, and properly utilize the Murder.net domain name as its central theme?
That’s how Murder.net was born. I first released the book in 2020, but much has changed in the digital world since then—Bitcoin, AI, the rise of dark web markets—that I knew it was time for a complete rewrite. After over a year of reworking and expanding the story, I’m proud to share this new version—one that feels more relevant, timely, and unsettling than ever.

This is my first foray into fiction, but not my first time as an author. Back in 2012, I wrote Mastering Your Website, a practical guide to building and optimizing websites that earned rave reviews in the industry. That book focused on empowering entrepreneurs and business owners to harness the web’s potential for growth. Murder.net takes a different path—exploring how the same web we build for good can be twisted into something dangerous. It’s a cautionary tale, told through the lens of a thriller.
Murder.net isn’t just a story—it’s a reflection of what we in the domain community know all too well: that a domain name isn’t just an address. It’s a platform—a launchpad for ideas, businesses, and sometimes, darker things. Murder.net imagines the terrifying scenario where a single domain becomes the hub of a global audience willing to pay for horror.
Why should domain enthusiasts read this book? Because it taps into the fundamental truth we understand: domain names aren’t just digital real estate—they’re vessels for ideas, for influence, for movements… and sometimes, for exploitation. If you’ve ever wondered what lurks behind the names we buy, sell, and manage—this book is for you. If you’re fascinated by the blurred line between innovation and destruction, technology and terror—you’ll find Murder.net both chilling and compelling.
Murder.net is available now on Amazon, in both paperback and Kindle formats. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the book, and how you see domain names not just as assets, but as the powerful platforms they truly are
