WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The domain name “GWI.com” sold at $105,000 this past week according to the latest SEDO.com weekly domain sales report. The three letter web address is currently leading to an HTTP Error 404 page. Also notable is the .se domain “mitt.se” that sold for a 17,000 EUR ($19,909) and a .chat domain “m.chat” which fetched $25,000. WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The domain name “PLP.com” sold at $117,500 this week according to the latest SEDO.com weekly domain sales report. The purchase appears to be an upgrade for Cleveland, Ohio based Preformed Line Products, which is also using the single generic dictionary word domain Preformed.com. WEST PALM BEACH, FL – According to a weekly sales release issued by SEDO domain marketplace and parking provider, the domain name “Movies.net” (parked at Godaddy) has changed hands for the cool sum of $45,000, making it the highest ‘public’ sale of the week. The highest reported sales were 16.net for $60,000.00 with the second place name as esports.net for $50,000.00. NEW YORK, NY - According to domain name industry news publication DNJournal.com, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., owned subsidiary ShoeBuy, has acquired the Internet domain name Shoes.com in a $9,000,000.00 transaction which included the domain name from a bankruptcy of now defunct operator “Shoes.com Technologies”.
